Details from old photographs has been heavily magnified. Scratches, stains and cracks creates new pictures that slowly merges. Blow Up-The Album Pictures is based on the covers of old photo albums from the 19th century. The titel refers to Michelangelo Antonionis film Blowup (1966). The central character in the film, a photographer, believe he has taken a picture of a murder. In his desire to solve the mystery he blows up the negatives. The more he enlarges the more the images resolves.
